In a storyPauline is looking for a new member of her team. Andrew is working in a similar, but lower position in another department. She has already convinced his superior to let him go so he can grow professionally. Pauline firmly believes in offering opportunity to existing employees and Andrew seems to be a good candidate. However, she wonders how he will cope with demands he has never faced before, especially dealing with clients. Pauline is not looking for other candidates but she would like to know better. She decided to use individual psychodiagnostics. Andrew passed the tests which included negotation with a client as a model situation. Then he received feedback, which told him which areas he needs to improve. Pauline watched him throughout and received the results. Now she has a new subordinate and knows his qualities. And Andrew handles the work better. |
